My IT interests lie in Databases, there interaction with the Web browser and the user.

in the past....

I currently work as a Technical Analyst and Database Adminstrator my role falls into two main categories; database administration and providing technical solutions.

I have also been a Self employed Contractor working within an international human resources consultancy, a Director and Technical Lead, Web Application Development & Databases, an IT Projects co-ordinator and spent some time as a Technical Specialist at a Microsoft Certified Support Centre

I have been member of the boards of the Porsche Club of Great Britain an enthusiasts club for those people who like the Porsche Marque.

I was once the Microcomputer Support Officer in the Department of Biomedical Sciences at the University of Aberdeen. Here is where I learnt the most valuable of IT professional lessons - that you should never believe what a user says.

Before that, I was a Doctor at the Aberdeen Royal Infirmary where I occasionally read the British Medical Journal. Before getting an MB ChB (Dr's qualification), I obtained a BSc(Med Sci) in Physiology at Aberdeen University.

Personal Things.

I like to drive a fast car the Porsche 944, and before that the curvaceous Porsche Carrera 3.2 (911), find out more at Porsches Web site, or look at my Porsche Links page..

Take a look around Aberdeen where I spent a number of years.
